We’re heading to the Chicago area for our annual Bus Trip!  Each year we have a fabulous road trip to add to our stashes, learn more about sewing and spend time with our sewing friends.  This year we’re headed to Schaumburg, Illinois to the Original Sewing and Quilt Expo.  The basic cost for the trip is $52 for members and $57 for guests.  The bus will leave the Meijer Store on Lima Rd. in Fort Wayne at 5:45 am with an additional pick-up stop near Warsaw on our way.  You won’t be disappointed with the value you receive from this tour package.  The registration fee will include bus fare, breakfast (juice, coffee and muffin) , admission to the Expo ( $10 value), voucher for a class ($19 value), expo tote bag & commemorative pin (added value) and, of course, spending time with your sewing friends (priceless!). Class vouchers are exchanged at the Expo for available sessions. If you would like to preview the class listings, check their website. Of course you may register (and pay for) additional sessions. The Expo will also have stage presentations, hands-on studios, and “make it & take it” projects available. The dinner stop on the way home will be on your own . 

 We’re planning on a show and tell during drive time.  Our bus tours always have a very faithful group of attendees.  So, bring your creations from fabric or patterns that you purchased on one of our previous  bus trips.  Of course, we also want to be inspired by anything that you’ve created so bring that along, too!  We’ll also have a few prizes to give away on the trip. 

It will be a full day of shopping, learning and spending time with sewing friends!

Bring your sewing Show And Tell to share on the bus ride up to Chicago.  There will also be door prizes, lots of fellowship, and general good fun.
