Chapter Events: E-Mail Mystery Quilt
Are you ready for a . . . mystery.
The assignment, should you choose to accept, will begin immediately with a simple clue to prepare you for the great adventure happening on February 4th (Saturday). It is up to you to act. Just send an e-mail to asgftw.website@gmail.com with your acceptance. A confirmation e-mail will be sent to you giving you the first clue with instructions for gathering the necessary materials and preparing them ahead of time.
You may solve the mystery by yourself, in the comfort of your own home. You may, however, work with another person or group of persons and watch the mystery unfold before you together. I know for a fact there will be a meeting of the sewing machines at Georgetown Library on E State St in Fort Wayne. They will be there from 10am - 6pm and may step out for lunch at a nearby restaurant. Whatever provision you make for the day, you will need to stay near a computer for hourly instructions.
It is not that difficult of an assignment. You should be able to finish your quilt top during the time allotted. Beginning at 10:30am you will receive your first clue of the day (remember you will have already received a clue to prepare you for this day). The clues will continue hourly, giving instruction to complete the each phase of the mystery. By the end of the day, the mystery will be revealed to you. There is a blog site, asgfortwayne.blogspot.com, where you can talk to others who are participating, ask questions, get help, and share photos. It sounds like mysterious fun!
BUT you must act by sending an e-mail to asgftw.website@gmail.com. This message will not self destruct, but you must hurry and respond.
